Who I am

I’ve lived in Lions Bay for 25 years and still can’t believe how fortunate we are to live here. I’m no politician, but have focused on applying my professional skills to my council work.​

 

I’m a Director of Construction for a large international engineering firm. Problem solving, critical assessments, budgets, contractual negotiations and people management are a large part of what I do, and they have enabled me to deliver on projects in Lions Bay.​

 

​It has been a difficult Council term, however by working with committee volunteers and staff, I have been able to deliver, progress and initiate infrastructure, climate action, highway noise monitoring and other projects. I'd like to continue working on current and upcoming projects to ensure they are successfully completed, with continued focus on obtaining grant funding to reduce costs for taxpayers.

I’m a strong supporter of environmental and conservation initiatives. This is an important part of who I am and there is always an environmental lens in my decision making.

My approach: Keep an open mind and do the homework to make the best decisions in line with community values. Focus on delivering important projects and spending wisely.
